Besides my usual wedding photography offers in Stockholm and other cities I have big plans for the wedding season 2020. During the last 10 years I visited over 60 countries and I found many amazing locations for wedding pictures. Where will we take your wedding pictures?
Lofoten islands - Norway
The most beautiful place on our planet is situated behind the polar circle. Sharp mountains emerging from the ocean create amazing scenery. Do you prefer pictures in summer with midnight sun or in winter with northern lights?
Ice Hotel - Sweden
Winters are becoming rare. Are you snow and ice lovers? Make a trip to the north of Sweden where you can spend a night in Ice Hotel. Besides that there is an ice chapel where you can get married. Can you imagine a more romantic place for winter lovers?
Northern lights - Anywhere in the north
Would you like to see northern lights? From September to April you have an amazing opportunity. Let’s travel to the north (Finland, Sweden, Norway or Iceland) and let’s take unforgettable pictures under one of the most exciting natural phenomena.
Praděd - Czech Republic
My home country is simply beautiful in winter. Jeseníky mountains become winter paradise every winter. Look at it.
High Tatras - Slovakia
Slovakian High Tatras are a hidden gem. These amazingly sharp mountains offer excellent wedding locations with dramatic landscape and are easily accessible by train. There are also many cosy mountain huts with incredible views, like this toilet at Rysy hut.
Bled - Slovenia
The most romantic place I have visited so far is lake Bled. The chapel on the island is simply made for weddings. Would you like to get married there?
Piódão - Portugal
My favourite Mediterranean country is Portugal. It has it all – the most exciting European beaches, wonderful cities, hidden mountain villages like Piódão below and Port wine. Simply perfect country for your honeymoon and wedding pictures.
Mont Olympus - Greece
Greece is not much behind Portugal on my Mediterranean list. Besides popular wedding destinations such as Santorini, you can also find there Europe’s most beautiful mountain. Where else can you watch the sea waves from the highest point of the country? I am not surprised Zeus chose this mountain as his seat.
Land of Fire And Ice - Iceland
When it comes to Iceland, I can’t just mention one location. There are way too many amazing spots on this incredible island. Huge waterfalls, empty beaches, deep fjords, high mountains, neverending glaciers, active vulcanoes are just a few reasons why you should visit Iceland at least once in your life. Why not for wedding pictures?
Chamonix - France
If you would like to discover the Alps, the best place to start is Chamonix. From there you can make trips in many difficulty levels and I can promise you that you will never forget the views over Mont Blanc and all the glaciers and sharp peaks around. Some places are even easily accessible by cable cars. There are definitely many dream spots for wedding photography.
Zermatt - Switzerland
There is one more village in the Alps where I always like to come back. Zermatt is similarly beautiful as Chamonix but it offers something extra. The view over Matterhorn is simply amazing.

My name is Jarda and I am a young passionate Stockholm Wedding Photographer. I worked for a long time as a consultant but my passion for photography was so strong that I decided to leave the comfortable office life to follow my dream. Currently, I work as a wedding photographer, writer, landscape photographer and blogger. I found out that photography storytelling is what I love working on most. That’s also why I shoot weddings and elopements. Where else can I find the most fascinating stories? I am from the Czech Republic but I moved to Sweden eight years ago and immediately fell in love with this beautiful country. Now I call Stockholm my home. I speak fluently English, Swedish and Czech.
